Dogs are generally cute, no matter what breed. They are so cute; part of their charm is their friendly attitude and adorable face.

I Heart Dogs reports that one particular dog has been going viral on the internet for this very reason. He is none other than Nori, an Australian shepherd-poodle mix owned by Kevin Hurless and Tiffany Ngo.

His face looks like that of a person, and this was noticed by people online. They love how this cute pup looks like a real person! His pink lips are curled into a very human-like smile. His wide, almond-shaped eyes are as expressive as those of humans, too!

“I think Nori’s coloring is what makes him look human, especially his eyes,” Tiffany Ngo said. “People like to say that his eyes make him seem very wise or soulful. He has a very expressive face – he even makes a disgusted face when I’m painting my nails and he smells the nail polish.”

Kevin and Tiffany live in Seattle. Strangers frequently stop them in their tracks only to comment on Nori’s facial resemblance to a human.

“When he was a puppy, we couldn’t go more than a block without someone stopping us to ask questions about him,” Kevin shares. “It has become less frequent as he’s gotten older, but we still often hear about how human his face and eyes look.”

Kevin and Tiffany posted a picture of Nori on their Twitter account and it reached up to 9,000 likes! The adorable pup has quickly become an internet sensation.

After this initial post, Nori’s life as a regular puppy changed and he has become an internet star. Kevin and Tiffany created an Instagram account only for Nori and he earned even more fans because of this.
Tiffany shares how they often find comments such as these on the said account.

“That’s where we get all the comments about his human features, with some people saying he looks like a giant person or they’re marveling at his eyes,” she said.

Of course, skeptics will never be out of the picture. Some people think that the couple is face-swapping the dog’s photos. However, more people are convinced that the photos are not edited.

“Nori is incredibly sweet and friendly and very energetic and playful. He loves all people and dogs that he meets, and just wants to be friends with everyone,” Tiffany further stated. Kevin shared how they tried to be very friendly and allowed people to meet Nori.

“We knew he had a very unique and interesting look, but didn’t expect quite the reaction we got,” he said.

Eventually, the couple also decided to find a friend for Nori because he is so playful and friendly. They brought Boba, a Shorkie, or a mix of Yorkie and Shih-Tzu. The two dogs got along very well and had various adventures each day.
