A missing cat's owner says she had "never given up hope" and having him back home again was "amazing".
Ian had vanished from the family home when they moved. Ian's owner, Claire Jerome, had initially gone back to the house every day in the hope of spotting him, but had no luck.
The ten year old cat had been living off the 'kindness of neighbours'.
Emma Turner, who runs Purton Cattery, said she had been told that Ian had been fed by neighbours for years, but was brought in after one of his regular feeders moved away.
Ian was neutered and microchipped but staff struggled to find his owners, so they put out an appeal on social media.
When Claire saw the appeal, she cried because he looked so much like Ian - but she "didn't want to build up her hopes".
It wasn't just his human family Ian was reunited with - Claire still has his brothers and sisters, as well as his elderly mum and dad.
"Having one of the family reunited with you is incredible in so many different ways - my heart could burst," Claire said.
